Treedom works with the Palestinian Farmers Union to bring prosperity to vulnerable communities. Our small-scale “Freedom Farms” on the West Bank solve a wide spectrum of issues:
Prosperity: Each Freedom Farm yields $36,000 worth of olive oil, creating economic independence for farmers.
Equality: 40% of our farms owned or managed by Palestinian women, bolstering their roles in families and communities.
Climate: A single Freedom Farm absorbs nine million pounds of carbon over its lifespan, yet uses significantly less water than similar fruit tree farms.
Migration: Our Freedom Farmers offer a compelling alternative to the "fight or flight” dichotomy—they choose to put down roots.
Sustainability: Olive trees boast an average lifespan of 500 years. Each farm generates $18 million of olive oil over its existence, ensuring prosperity for generations.
Protection: Israel can legally seize fallow land to annex for settlements, but
planting helps Palestinian land stay in Palestinian hands.

SIMPLE. SCALEABLE. IMPACTFUL.
Today there are over 55 Freedom Farms across the West Bank.
Our goal is to plant 1000 Freedom Farms, transforming a polarized holy land into a flourishing heartland.
